7. By Pass - Bega 

• Hosting, funding or part funding and facilitating meetings:

a) Two ‘Breakfast Meetings’ targeting local land owners and business people aimed at opening public discussion on location, style and type of future areas for growth and planning of industrial zones in and around Bega

b) Public Meeting to investigate proposed rezoning                      

c) ‘A Taste of Bega’ – Bega Cheese Heritage Centre – presentation of   video   ‘Know Your Town’

d) Spenco Site development          

e) ‘Welcome to our town’ –dinner for new businesses to Bega

 

• Carrying out a public survey campaign through Bega District News to establish public response to proposed rezoning issues

• Negotiating direct participation in ANU Student Doctor’s visits to Bega

• Initiating, Facilitating and funding meetings, campaign and Strategies for New Hospital for Bega Valley

• Researching production of DVD - Bega
