Welcome to Bega Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Bega is the home of Local Government, Health, Education, Finance and Shopping in our region, it is also home and origin of Bega Cheese, the region’s largest employer.
Set in a valley at the junction of the Bega and Brogo rivers and surrounded by rich dairy country, Bega is a handsome, historic town that’s the rural centre of the Sapphire Coast and gateway to the lush Bega Valley. The traditional inhabitants the Djiringanj, Thaua, Bidawahal and Ngarigo tribal groups comprised the Yuin–Monaro nation in the area now known as the Bega Valley Shire.
Bega Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s vision is to support a vibrant and sustainable Bega Business community.
Our mission to achieve this vision involve these key actions:
Represent the interests of the business community at local, state and federal levels by advocating for issues of importance to economic and business development in our region.
Promoting members businesses and organisations by implementing programs and activities that benefit the business community of Bega.
Implementing programs and activities that support Bega as a regional centre for commerce and business.
Promote the Bega Valley as an attractive and desirable area for new business, new residents and visitors to our region.

Bega Customer Service Awards
This year the Bega Chamber of Commerce and Industry, wants to support, strengthen and celebrate the customer experience in Bega. We want customers to enjoy their experience when contacting businesses and organisations in Bega. Giving customers a fantastic experience will increase sales, spread the good word and get more repeat business, it is a win win for business and their customers.
Bega Businesses, we invite you to be part of the initiative. The BCCI wants to shine a light on customer service over the next 6 months. We have a three-phased approach. Awareness Building, Skill Development and Celebration of Excellence. We have designed it this way for greater integration and long-term benefits.
