February 1st and 2nd saw the running of the Bega Cup. Held over two days the Bega Cup is the biggest event on the Sapphire Coast Turf Clubs calendar and this year the cup celebrates 150 years since the first running.
In recognition of the influx of visitors to the area during the race meeting and the boost to the local economy it provides, especially to our restaurant and accommodation providers, the Bega Chamber was again pleased to sponsor the meeting.
