On Wednesday morning the 13th of October we held our first breakfast networking event at the Bega Cheese Heritage Centre. It proved to very popular with 36 of our members coming along.
The food was great and the coffee well received.
John welcomed everyone and gave a brief overview on the progress of a couple of Chamber projects and then spoke about the coming events in the lead up to Christmas.
We then welcomed Andrew Taylor who is the Circularity Program Manager who gave a fascinating run down on what “Circularity” and the “Circular Economy” means and how it will develop into the future.
Andrew also showed plans for the proposed National Circularity Centre that will be built on a parcel of land at the entrance to Bega Cheese. This was followed by some Q & A. More information on the Bega Circularity Centre here.
Information about our upcoming events will be posted on our website.
