Business NSW have announced the winners of the awards for the Far South Coast Region and the Bega Chamber has won for most outstanding local Chamber.

President John Watkin says it is credit to a great team. We have twelve on our executive committee and they are all committed to Bega and the Region. We have an awesome events team who stage a variety of events to support our members and the business community in general. Our Economic Development team have been busy with many longer-term projects that will see the area thrive long into the future; and our communication is pretty good which is really important. We strive to keep our website as update and current as possible; we continually post on Facebook, we send out a monthly newsletter to our members, which is also printed in the Bega District News, and we have a regular spot on 2EC.

It was also great to see others in Bega recognised in other categories; so congratulations to East Coast Radio winning Employer of Choice; Tulgeen winning Diversity and Inclusion; and Hanna Rossi the Manager of the Commonwealth Bank in Bega for outstanding Business Leader.

It is worth noting that the Far South Coast area encompasses Ulladulla in the north across to Goulburn, Yass, and Queanbeyan and includes all the Snowy region.

All winners will now go on the State awards to be held later this year.
