As mentioned last month the business case for the McKee Drive Precinct is moving along quickly. We now have a final concept plan of the site based on community needs. Our consultants NGH and architects Edmiston Jones have done a great job working closely with the Chamber.

The Bega Valley Data Collective have provided us with lots of great information to reinforce the needs of this area as compared to State averages. Our Economists SC Lennon and Associates are currently working on the financial modelling to not only build the facility but also to operate in a financially sustainable way. This month we had the opportunity to present our plans to Bega Valley Shire Council and to discuss various aspects of the project.

We are also very grateful for the continued support of Member for Bega Dr Michael Holland and his staff who facilitated a meeting with the Premier Mr Chris Minns along with Minister Rose Jackson. We have until the end of September to finish this project and look forward to presenting it to our stakeholders and the public soon.
