On August 28 the Chamber staged a meet the Candidate night in the lead up to the Local Government Elections in September. All available candidates were present for the event which was also live steamed into a Clean Energy for Eternity meeting at Tathra Hotel.
Subjects discussed included how to bring the finances into line. Rate increases. The state of the Bega CBD and a range of topics raised by the audience. We appreciate the help of Ian Campbell as our Emcee, Ben Symth from Australian Community Media for the livestream and to Kirsty Towill who did a great job as time keeper.
