Rachel is doing a fantastic job as the Local Connector delivering the Welcome Experience program across the Bega Valley. She has built up a huge stock of resources and contacts that all contribute to helping new workers to the area feel welcome when they come, and to help them settle into the area.

Rachel has connected with a good number of workers ranging from singles through to families with kids, on all sorts of activities from helping to find housing to a new local Doctor. Over the next six months we are expecting a large influx to the area with the Southern Area Health District recently recruiting a number of new staff from the United Kingdom.
